We love the guitar, so its no surprise to find that is the main instrument we stock at Heron Music. We have electrics, acoustics, basses and 12 strings for sale to suit many different styles and budgets, and we also stock mandolins, banjos and ukuleles.

Amplifiers

We have a comprehensive range of backline in stock, usually containing things like used Fender Twin Reverbs, Peavey Bandits and Vox AC30s. If you are looking for a different sound or just need to replace your current gear then come in and see us soon.

We sell string sets, individual strings, leads, capos, replacement guitar knobs, switches, tremolo arms, bridge pins, guitar covers, gig bags, foot stools, effect pedals, gaffa tape, guitar polish, fast fret, guitar nuts, guitar pots, guitar hangers, guitar stands, machine heads, music stands, effects pedals, jack plugs, guitar slides, straps and drum sticks. And screws - don’t forget those hard to get little screws to replace the missing ones on your guitar. We’ve got them. Loads of them!

Setups and Repairs

We offer a comprehensive guitar set-up and repair service. All the set-ups are carried out on site, and include anything from a simple restring and intonation check to fret polishing and stoning. We fit pickups, replace switches and guitar pots, and can give your guitar a complete rewire if necessary. Whatever condition your guitar is in bring it along to us for an honest appraisal of what work might be necessary to make it the best it can be.

P/X and Commission Sales

If you fancy changing your guitar or amplifier then you are welcome to bring it in for a part exchange quote. If you just want to sell your equipment then bring it in to see if we wish to buy it from you, or to sell it for you on a commission basis.
